Winter ---> Spring

Winter quarter ended with a few papers and a few test. I was so glad it was over! I did end up getting some pretty good grades. Two 4.0's, a 3.8 and a 3.2. All in all it was a very successful quarter. When I founfd out my grades I was a little suprised because I thought one grade would be lower.

My favorite parts of the quarter include skipping class and losing a few pounds at the gym :)

I woke up this morning with a great feeling about the day. The sun was shining through the curtains and I felt invincible! I didn't even mind that I left the house 25 minutes behind schedule. When I arrived at school I realized that I didn't even print out my schedule. Yikes! I had to scurry up to the PUB lab to print it off (and make it look pretty). When I finally was ready to walk to class I decided to take a pit stop in the ladies room. Big mistake. I ended up being five minutes late to class. And I hate being late to class! The worst part about it was that I had to sit by this girl I really don't like. She was in a previous class of mine... we were in the same small group and she didn't acknowledge me. Really? I mean REALLY? That class is going to be fun! I am super excited for it!
After class I went to the book store and bought an overpriced used textbook. Worst $125 dollars i've ever spent. After that I research graduate programs in School Psychology and decided what classes i am taking this summer and next fall. It is really weird to think that I only have 2.5 quarters left. I thought I would feel more grown up by the time I was applying to graduate from college. I eventually made it to my 1pm class. Intro to Special Education. I think this class is going to open up windows of understanding for me. Again, I am super excited for the class.
 This quarter will be a fun one!!!

A few months later.

The major that I changed to is Counseling, Educational, and Developmental Pyschology (CEDP). I love the classes that I was able to take and actually made the Deans List @ EWU for spring quarter. I also ended up taking one more class then i did the previous two quarters. My dad's wife said that the more credits or classes you take the more on top of your homework you are because you know you don't have anytime to waste.

About a week ago Jake and I had our one year anniversary of the big move to Spokane and living in the same apartment. Moving away from family has brought us more together because we really have to come together when something happens. It has also been nice that we have been able to settle into our own space and buy things together. It has allowed me to make our house a real home... and I love it!

New Years Resolution!

My New Years resolution was to start writing in a journal. So, here I am in March posting my first post. I wanted to start a journal because I feel old and know that I am forgetting everyday things that I don't want to forget. Like Yesterday.

Yesterday it was finally my turn to register for classes at Eastern Washington University. I set my alarm early so I could get up and get into the classes that I wanted. After playing the alarm game for twenty minutes I gave in and got out of bed. I then preceded to go onto the registration website and look for the classes that I was planning on taking. And... they were full. And... I was pissed. So, I found a new major where I can actually take classes that I want to and at the time of day I want to. Now all I have to do is unroll in one major and enroll in the other.

The rest of my day was pretty nice simple and easy. Jake and went to Wal-Mart, Winco and Best Buy. My day ended with work from 5 to 8 and then Weeds & cuddle time.
